Why not just get a realtor to sell my property?

Land can typically take longer to sell (oftentimes years) with the limited demand, even after paying exorbitant advertising costs.  You may find many agents won’t devote the same time or resources to selling your property as they know little about the land market, and commissions are much smaller than average house deals.  Funding on the buyer’s end is harder to come by than traditional forms of real estate, meaning you may have to deal with selling under terms with payments over time versus closing the deal with one transaction.
